Absolutely incredible. These beautiful flowing flowering garments created by artist Ron Isaacs are actually made of wood. We’ll give you a second to fully take that in. Carved, and painted so realistically you would think they’re digitally manipulated. And I’ll admit, we were impressed with these before we realized they weren’t digital manipulations. The fact that they’re masterfully painted blew our minds. The birch-wood pieces are full of the illusion of movement (and plenty of creative inspiration). The garments are intentionally painted without the human form to allow the viewer to guess who the wearer could be. A work of visual poetry.
