BCBG Max Azria Fall 2014

AMAZING collection by BCBG Max Azria!! Today’s show marks the brand’s 25th birthday, and just for the record, there no sings of a quarter-life crisis to be seen. In fact, we feel that BCBG Max Azria’s has never been truer to its roots. And what an amazing way to kick off New York Fashion Week. As Azria himself pointed out, being one of the first designers on the runway requires “a lot of guts,” adding, “We always do something that other people are not doing.” We promise you’re going to want to wear every single piece you see below. Wonderfully voluminous fur coats, and the softest fabrics hung loosely and comfortably around the models as “Ain’t No Sunshine” by Coeur de Pirate, “Murakami” by Made in Heights, and “Hey Clarinette” by Trapmasters played in the background. The Ukrainian/Tunisian origins of husband-wife duo behind the brand crept into the collection, with muted colors paired with subtly Slavic accents. We were swooning.
